At AIM worship through music is an integral part of our services and an expression of our love for God. Music makes us feel good, it can uplift us, pick up our spirits, and put us in the right place offer up our thanks and our love. That's why music is so important.
Each Sunday our Worship Group leads from the front on vocals, keyboard, electric and acoustic guitars in worship before, during and after the service with a combination of traditional hymns and more contemporary Christian rock and popular music. Just to give you some idea of what we mean by this check out these links to Christian artists on Youtube (you might need to skip the ads !)... Hillsong (All my Hope) ... Chris Tomlin (Whom Shall I Fear) ... Matt Maher (Your Grace Is Enough)
At AIM we like to encourage those who can play or are learning to play an instrument to become involved with the Worship Group. Age doesn't matter...our youngest member is 9 yrs old and absolutely fantastic on the tambourine!, and our older members have a wealth of playing experience. The most important thing is a desire to play and and use your talents to praise God. For more information about becoming involved please speak to our deacon Sarah.
