AIM Church is made up of people from various backgrounds and stages in life. Whether it’s the nursery children, teens, the retired, the singles, the couples or the families, we all come together to share what we have in common.
We also believe in encouraging those who are in membership of the church to use their gifts and talents. For example, many of our members are involved in music, craft or catering. Whatever we do, we work together as a team.
Whoever you are or wherever you are from, you will receive a warm welcome and we are sure you will "feel at home.”
Peter Gleave – Pastor/Elder
Peter has lived in Warrington all his life and was a member of AIM Church when it was founded in 1987. He is husband to Sarah and dad to James, Andrew and Benjamin, who are also part of the team in AIM Church.
When he isn’t spending time with family, he loves watching sport but has now given up his dream of playing Rugby for England!
Peter is our Pastor and Church planter. He is gifted in studying and explaining God's word and he undertakes the majority of our weekly Bible teaching, both on a Sunday and at homegroup. Peter is also gifted in pastoral care and he is always there to support and help people who need it.

Tony Scott – Elder/Treasurer
Tony has been attending AIM Church for over 30 years. He is married to Heather and has one son, Jonathan. Heather is a member of AIM Church and plays piano in the worship group. Together they are involved in helping to run Coffee AIM and in the administration of the Church. As treasurer, Tony ensures the smooth running of all things financial.
Tony enjoys DIY both at home and helping others wherever possible.
Tony and Heather are both retired now and Tony enjoys going on holiday, playing golf, and watching Formula 1.

James Gleave - Elder
We are thrilled that James Gleave has felt the call to become a leader within AIM Church. He has been attending AIM since he was born. James married Aimee last year and together they contribute signficantly to the work at AIM Church. When James isn't at his day job as a Chartered Engineer or running ultramarathons, he can often be found preaching God's word or using his musical gifts to lead worship. We are excited that James has joined the Leadership team and look forward to what God will lead him to do in the future.
James and Aimee welcomed a beautiful baby boy - Zion Peter Gleave in March 2026. We are thrilled as a Church to welcome them all into our Church family.

Ali Noble - Deacon - Outreach
Ali has been involved in AIM Church since it first started. She is mum to Will and Sophie, as well as Arlo the cockapoo, who she can often be seen walking with in the local area.
Ali is our deacon for outreach and as part of this she is involved in running Coffee Aim on Tuesdays, Kids Church on Sundays, leading the Bereavement Journey, planning social events and being part of AIM's Pastoral Team.
Emily Gleave - Deacon
Emily has been attending AIM Church since she became married to Andy. Andy is a member of AIM Church and is part of the worship group and ACIT team. Emily is also part of the worship group, KIDS Church as well as being part of AIM's Pastoral Team.
